Graven Images Oracle ReadingCard #1: Root of the Question
Triumph (Divine #7)
Triumph is exactly that: the ability to rise above hardships and misfortune and still keep dignity and bearing. You should know that adversity will leave its mark, it will have a lasting impact, but need not disrupt your path. May also stand for growth through struggle, overcoming a negative past in order to shine, or learning to stop sabotaging yourself in order to evolve. Top Card #2: Immediate Past
Petition (Divine #13)
Petition is the shadow of Intercession. As in its higher counterpart, outside aid is required to improve the situation. However, in Petition, you refuse to see the necessity. Rather than seek guidance directly, there is a tendency here to play various roles and wear a simpler guise in order to obtain what is needed. Petition takes on the appearance of the child in need in order to illicit a response. Thus there is a call to beware of insincerity, swindling and gamesmanship in yourself or others. Things are not as they appear. Top Card #3: Immediate Future
Spirit (Mental #6)
There is a need here for healthy egotism, a call to remember who you are even if no one else does. The situation may require the self-awareness to be anonymous. Your work may need to stand on its own merit, without the support of your personality or reputation. This can also be art for art's sake, the power behind the throne, or largess without expecting acknowledgement, or charity without fanfare. Top Card #4: Outside Forces
Clan (Social #5)
Clan signifies home ventures, working with family, and cottage industry. Now would be the time to develop money-producing activities through consignment, advisory work or other fledgling employments which keep you near your family or can involve them in the effort. This could also include non-business pursuits such as artistic and creative endeavors, or shared recreation. Top Card #5: Hopes and Fears.
As Above (Social #7)
Completion. After toil, strife, joy, and setbacks your work, or participation in the situation, is now drawing to a close. The time has come to tally up the lessons learned, evaluate your behavior and actions, and get ready for the next cycle, the next project or adventure. What you learn about yourself now becomes the groundwork for the future. Top Card #6: Final Outcome
Star (Emotion #5)
The star is a type of phoenix, consumed in fire and constantly sinking into daylight and rising into the evening sky. The star is recovery after injury and illness; a time of healing. There is wisdom learned through pain, and hope gained from weakness. Allow the process to continue, no matter how long it takes. Top Images are pixiliated to protect copyright.
